2022
Progress in 2022
After two phenomenal months at the farm, we not only planted 1,200 native trees (update report to follow) but we restored the cottage. See our selection of photographs below.
Start of cottage restoration - February March 2022.

Farm Cottage objectives - Environmental Projects in partnership with Local Agricultural Colleges
Our objective for the cottage was to create a base where students of the various Agricultural Colleges in the are (Universidade Rural de Valença and Seropedica) could stay with their tutors.
We are very open to the nature of the various environmental collaborations and partnerships and its options for mutual benefit.
There was a suggestion that a handful of post graduation students could stay with their tutor while working on a thesis or starting from scratch a research forestry project in partnership with us.
One of the local Agricultural colleges has already shown interest in our concept Meetings will be set up shortly with one in our existing partners Conexão Mata Atlantica .
